Sakuraba is a mixed martial artist. Kimura is a world renowned judoka with very noticeable weight advantage. Sakuraba took a combined total of around 2.5 to 3 hours to beat three of them out of 5 matches. And Kimura 13 minutes in a strick grappling match. I say the Gracies don't get enough credit.

Mas vamos ser honestos: ele tinha o carisma certo pra fazer o Brasil inteiro botar fé além das vitórias dele serem meia-verdades (lutadores fora da bolha do judô/jiu-jitsu/capoeira que lutaram contra ele eram bem medíocres quando não ele mesmo escolhia à dedo quem ele iria lutar), além dele botar muitos de seus filhos (Rorion, Royce e Rickson) pra lutarem por ele acho que já devíamos aceitar que existem jiujiteiros bem melhores que os gracies como o Ricardo Arona, Wallid Ismail, Ivan Gomes etc.

Sakuraba and Fedor to me will always be on another level out of all fighters.

Fedor is the goat. I wish he didn't fight as long as did, but that's the game. Great techniques here. Hope he does some grappling matches with One or some other org.
